Growing the Republican Base

As we move into 2016, one thing more than most is on the minds of people – the Presidential election. As younger voters are coming into their own and becoming more active in the political process, pundits want to know why the much maligned “Millenial” generation looks at issues the way they do and why.

Atlanta Young Republican President Angelyn Dionysatos and Vice President for Political Affairs Jake Evans joined NPR recently to discuss that very issue, among others, facing younger voters here in Georgia and across the country.

To listen to their interview, visit Soundcloud. Their portion of the program starts at about the 20:00 mark.

It is officially Election Day! The Georgia Young Republicans would like to thank all candidates running for office. We'd also like to give a shout out to those that tirelessly "behind the scenes" on campaigns. No matter the results of today's primary, it's important that we unite behind our nominees and show the Democrats in November that there is no "blue wave." Polls open at 7AM. Get out and vote!
