Goodbye, Mrs. Reagan!

This week saw the passing of Nancy Reagan, quite possibly one of the most gracious first ladies to join her husband in the White House.

Ken Duberstein, who served as Chief of Staff to President Reagan, said, “”Every time she was in the room, he was better, and every time he was in the room she was better. She brought a sense of class and dignity and elegance that everybody admired.”

Although we mourn her passing, we can always celebreate the legacy that both she and her husband left America with. The both loved this country deeply, its people most certainly, but above all each other.

Although we mourn, Mrs. Reagan, we rejoice in you joining your loving husband for eternity. Thank you for all you did for us.

It is officially Election Day! The Georgia Young Republicans would like to thank all candidates running for office. We'd also like to give a shout out to those that tirelessly "behind the scenes" on campaigns. No matter the results of today's primary, it's important that we unite behind our nominees and show the Democrats in November that there is no "blue wave." Polls open at 7AM. Get out and vote!
